We specialize in all aspects of educational, municipality, and commercial markets throughout the State of Arizona based out of our two offices: Phoenix and Tucson. Meet Our Leadership Team

Curt Thurman

Curt has been with FSEC since the Spring of 1997 in mostly every department and capacity of the company. Currently Curt is the qualifying party for the CR67 fire alarm / low voltage systems license and passed the requirements to hold the C16 fire suppression license. His primary responsibility is to provide leadership to the entire FSEC team. The focus is to build on the forty-year foundation that was laid down by our late President Richard Buck. To continue to honor his legacy daily by providing the latest life safety technology with the very best customer service in the industry. FSEC is so fortunate to have an exceptional staff that is compassionate and dedicated to assist our customers through their life safety journey.

For over forty years Eve has been the silent voice that stood by Richard as he built FSEC from a small service company founded on integrity, honor, and dedication to our customers. Today, Eve continues her dedication to FSEC by honoring Richard’s legacy as she leads over forty FSEC Team members into a new chapter of FSEC.

Melissa Stedry

Over 25 years ago Melissa was given the opportunity to work at FSEC. She began as the Service Coordinator moving to Project Management, covering in all aspects in the Company till now (yes she even pulled wire in the over 100 degree AZ summer). Fast forward to the present FSEC has employed and still employs many Friends and Family creating our FSEC family. Being an Arizona native and growing up around the construction industry, Melissa witnessed all forms of companies and the characteristics on which they base their business. She is grateful to have had a mentor that was always trying to provide the best Customer service and solutions for our Customers needs. Richard was very supportive on my growth journey and am honored to be able to continue what he created over 40 years ago protecting our customers with life safety solutions and excellent customer service.

David Paul

With almost a half decade in the industry, David is a valuable piece of the day to day sales for the company. Never thinking of sales as "customers", David always has the goal of building a long lasting partner relationship. It is with this goal that he has been able to help multiple large partners, and expand FSEC's business portfolio.

When he's not at his desk, the recently retired professional soccer player, is usually kicking a soccer ball around the office...much to the dismay of the office staff.

Lauren Rodriguez

Upon Graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in December of 2021, FSEC was the first company to interview and hire me! They took a chance on me and I haven't looked back since. Although my background was not in the Construction Industry, I have learned so much over the past two years working for FSEC. I am part of the Construction Financial Management Association, as well as the Young Construction Finance Professionals Chapter Committee. Through networking, webinars and courses offered by CFMA, I have been able to continue growing my knowledge in the industry to better serve and protect our employees, and company! I am passionate about helping others, and am proud to work for a company who prioritizes family and providing safety to our communities! I look forward to growing with FSEC and our employees for years to come!

Fred Ohrt

Fred has been in the fire sprinkler industry for more than 32 years. He started with FSEC in 2010 as a technician/installer and was asked to step in as the fire suppression manager in 2020. Fred oversees design and installation of fire sprinkler systems for FSEC. He is currently the qualifying party for FSEC at a state level as well as the City of Phoenix.

Christina began her professional journey at FSEC in 2015 as a receptionist. Eager to expand her knowledge Christina has sat in many seats here at FSEC, from coordinator positions to Installation Admin and now being a part of the Leadership team. Throughout her journey, Christina has exemplified dedication, adaptability, and a relentless pursuit of professional development, making invaluable contributions at every stage of her career.
